America's Sunrise Land; In Their Words
For well over one hundred years people have been coming to East Quogue to enjoy all that it has to offer for rest and relaxation.
This exhibit is celebrating that legacy by letting those vacationers tell us about their time, and highlighting the hotels and boarding houses that entertained them.
It is a first hand account of their time here.
A glimpse into the past that isn't really that different from today.

Dear Margaret,
IF the trucks come before we get home, do not let the expressmen take them upstairs. Leave them in the hall downstairs.
